On Saturday, March 17, Kino Pilotů will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day and Mezipatra will not be left behind. At 7:30 pm we will be screening a documentary The Queen of Ireland, which won the Mezipater 2016 Audience Award.

Do you miss the DJs who play at the Mezipatra, and cannot wait until November? Then you'll love the new cycle of Burn Your Problems parties! It takes place every last Sunday of the month in our café Patra (Krymská 17, Prague 10) and is free of charge. We serve the drinks already from 3:00 pm.

Submit your film to the 19th edition of Mezipatra Queer Film Festival which takes place in November 2018 in Prague (Nov. 8–15, 2018) and Brno (Nov. 16–23, 2018), Czech Republic. Cinematic works of any length and genre created after January 1, 2017, and meeting the criteria mentioned in the Rules and Regulations section, can be submitted by June 15, 2018.

Dear friends, we wish you charming Christmas and only the best in the new year. We look forward to seeing you at the next edition of the festival and by then, for example, at the Prague Pride or on Mezipatra Aproved screenings!

Bored of holiday cleaning? Frustrated from crowded Christmas markets? Take a deep breath and come see this year’s last screening from the Mezipatra Approved series! This time with the Israeli–German film The Cakemaker.

Did you miss Thelma at Mezipatra? Now there’s another chance to see the Norwegian thriller, courtesy of the Mezipatra Approved series!

Audiences in Prague and Brno chose their winner - the British film God's Own Country. Congratulations! You will be able to see the film next year at Světozor cinema as the first screening of the 19th edition of Mezipatra.

We finished the Prague part of the festival and waved goodbye to our great foreign guests. We have handed over the prizes to the winning films - the main feature film Beach Rats and the short film Transition (Tranzicija). And then we have danced through the night. However, the show goes on! Mezipatra in Brno will officially start on Thursday Nov. 10 with the Opening at 7:00 pm in Scala cinema. Before then, you can visit the opening of the Be Your Own Champion exhibition on Wednesday Nov. 9 from 6:00 pm at ArtBar Druhý Pád.

Frankie lives with his younger sister, mother and fatally ill father. He fights bitterness and frustration with drinking with a questionable bunch of friends, taking drugs and having occasional sex with older men. Director Eliza Hittman's film Beach Rats, which dazzled the audience in Cannes, won the Grand Jury prize at 18th Mezipatra. You can see the melancholic coming-of-age film at 8:30 pm in Světozor cinema. As a bonus you will see the awarded short film Transition (Tranzicija) on the beginning.
