Dear fans, on October 17 we will reveal a complete program of this year's Mezipatra. That means that you can buy the festival pass during October 1–16 at the box offices of our cinemas for the Prague part of the festival: Světozor, Pilotů, or Lucerna (also online) and in café Patra. For the program in Brno they will be available until the end of the festival at kino Scala and NoArt.
We invite you to Robert Vano's exhibition One love, one marriage (Jedna láska, jedno manželství). It takes place at the Main railway station in Prague until August 19. The traveling exhibition was prepared by the Coalition for Marriage (Koalice za manželství) hat we are part of and captures stories of loving couples who want to join marriage, but are yet not allowed to. You will see the environment in which they live, their families, friends and colleagues. Vano is a world-renowned artist and the entrance is free of charge, so do not hesitate to come by!
Would you like to dazzle someone with your knowledge? Are you a heart and soul rocker? Do you think that gender is not just a modern fiction or maybe you just want to eat something for free? This year we have prepared a series of discussions and screenings called Identity in the City within the Prague Pride program. The event takes place August 7-10 in the venue Kasárna Karlín (Prvního pluku 20/2, 186 00 Praha 8 - Karlín). Every day we start with the discussion from 7:00 pm and at 9:00 pm follows the screening of selected films. Free entry. All screenings and Friday's discussion are English friendly!
Within the next Mezipatra Approved series we will introduce American film Love, Simon from the director Greg Bernanti. On Friday, June 8 at 6:45 pm in the Lucerna cinema. Come to the screening of a movie so much loved even by our favorite Xavier Dolan.
Did you know that Prague is one of the few places in Europe which do not have their LGBTQ+ community center? We took the first step and last year, we opened Patra – our own unique place combining a bar with a gallery, events and community space. Now we need your help. Support us on a crowdfunding platform Hithit and get awesome rewards in exchange.
You can find the project on this website.
