Tomas is preparing his new film and Martin is finishing a major commission in a graphic studio. The life of the married couple spent between the streets of Paris, a ritzy apartment and weekends at a cottage, doesn’t seem to be lacking. But meeting Agathe at a party reveals tiny cracks in the seemingly happy marriage and they start multiplying way too fast. Is it worth sacrificing a long-established security for the feeling of complete freedom? After more than a decade, the renowned American director Ira Sachs returns to Mezipatra with his latest film about the rocky dynamics of relationships, honesty, and palpable erotic tension. This star-cast melodrama with Franz Rogowski, Ben Whishaw and Adèle Exarchopoulos won the audience award at the Sunny Bunny festival and received a Teddy Award nomination at Berlinale.
