The representation of queer characters in television series is often stigmatized or overlooked. Homophobic attitudes in the CEE region hinder the promotion of LGBTQ+ stories. What challenges arise in the creation of queer series, and how far does censorship reach? These questions will be explored by Hungarian historian Kate Benedek, iVysílání curator Matěj Forejt, Polish director Łukasz Kośmicki, and the creators of the series Spectrum in Czech-Slovak co-production.
