European Modernity has been understood as a condition for emergence of sexuality, but there are locations where sexuality has not emerged. Alexander Kondakov, Assistant Professor at European University at St. Petersburg, will give a lecture on how anti-modernity discourse produces ghostly substances of queerness. The lecture will be in English.
