Belleville in Paris throbs with life, but Max feels lost. He is returning from the mountains to his father’s apartment and he roams the streets of Paris not knowing what to do with himself. Robespierre follows one night full of random encounters – while others seek connection, Max hesitates. Pierre Menahem captures the uncertainty of a young man and his struggles with attraction and intimacy.
