Bruno and his merely 15 years older mother Toni are an inseparable duo. They travel around Ibiza doing seasonal work, spending their free days drinking and playing games. But their private world is disrupted when Toni’s girlfriend, Hannah, moves into their bungalow. The new dynamic begins to reveal cracks in the seemingly perfect mother-son relationship. As 21-year-old Bruno gradually realizes, being the only adult in the household is more than he can handle. Will he manage to start making decisions for himself and break free from his sense of responsibility for his mother? Julius Nitschkoff as Bruno convincingly portrays the inner turmoil of a young man trapped in a toxic relationship. He is also helped by the debuting director’s exceptional camera which constantly follows Bruno almost like a protective, caring eye.
