A gang of gorgeous hunks are celebrating Christmas in a luxurious family villa. Although they're all close to thirty, they're constantly avoiding adulthood. They spend their days horsing around by the pool, watching prank videos, doing drugs, and, above all, teasing each other. That includes constant groping, which no one ever questions - until they realise that one of them might be gay. Queer filmmaker Marco Berger returns to Mezipatra with an immensely entertaining probe into the hypocrisy of toxic masculinity. He locks you into the timelessness of a huge summer mansion and shows the ruthlessness of privileged young men along with homophobia in a distinctly homoerotic environment. The film is thoroughly entertaining most of the time, but then it manages to hit all the harder. Is it even possible to sympathize with any of the pathetic characters?
