The Perfect Family

Eileen (Kathleen Turner) is the head of the family in an American small town and is a devoted Catholic, who does her confession twice a day and fills her free time with chores like delivering food to the elderly. Everything in her life is organized and ruled by an iron fist. When she is about to receive the Catholic Woman of the Year Award, she is desperate to convince the committee that her family is beyond perfect in every way. Her daughter (Emily Deschanel), expecting her first baby with her partner refuses, however, to pretend being engaged to a “nice Catholic boy.” And the rest of the family is not too enthusiastic about the “perfect-ness” obsession either… Will Eileen gain her award, which comes with the archbishop’s blessing as well as what she craves most  - the forgiveness of all of her sins?
