When Rabbi Yaacov Deyo came up with the first version of speed dating – hoping to speed up the process of single Jews getting to know each other – he probably never would have suspected that it would be later used by the LGBT community. Little did he know, he hit the nail right on the head. Many later studies have looked at this form of dating and all agree that the first few seconds are the most important when it comes to choosing a partner. Getting on your nerves? You will only be face to face for a few minutes. Do you like that person? You can see him again.
Before the dating begins, at 18.00 there will be a screening with a sarcastic, instantly funny, and energetic stand-up comedian. The performance is called „Do Nothing“ and is about the hardships and pleasures of dating.
