When Viktor Heumann and Damian Machaj first started working for Mezipatra, they were listed under different names in the festival catalogue. It was not because they were afraid that people might find out they work for the queer festival.

And it's not the issue of stage names either. Until recently we called Viktor, the volunteer coordinator, "Bára" and we called Damián, the off-program manager, "Dana". We can proudly say that our team is also transgender. If you are under the impression that being transgender means completely wiping out one's original gender and replacing it with the new one, Viktor and Damian are about to change your mind.
