Queer pub quiz celebrates its 10th anniversary this year and you can be there! Teams of two to five people can sign up for the quiz with questions about queer history and pop culture. What is the generation of young queer activists like? Does their activism focus solely on LGBTQ+ rights, or do they also fight for the rights of other marginalized groups? We will discuss this with Jana Myšáková (she), one of the founders of Safe Space—a feminist queer bookstore—and also with leftist and environmental activist Petr Doubravský (he).

Kateřina Nedbálková (she/her) is a Czech sociologist working at Masaryk University. Her research has long focused on gender, prisons and class division. In 2006, she published a book, Bound by Pleasure, which presents entographic research in women's prisons. In her talk she will present the specifics of the position of lesbians and other queer women in the Czech prison environment.

The heroines*heroes dance and sing about their past in prison, reliving their stories and, through fantasy and imagination, building a new future for themselves.

Are you curious about what a history lesson that doesn't ignore the existence of LGBTQ+ people might look like? Ladislav Jackson (he) and Denisa Vídeňská (she) from the Society for Queer Memory will shed light on this. Together, we'll explore why it is so challenging to reconstruct queer history and get acquainted with specific examples of queer lives from Czech history.

Trans activist Hanna and Kyrylo fled Ukraine during the Russian invasion and are trying to settle in Berlin. They share their experiences with transitioning in their home country, along with stories of trans friends who are not allowed to leave Ukraine.

The Grindr app is used by 11 million men worldwide each month, mostly for sex. But is it really about sex? Why can forming sexual relationships be easier in some ways than forming emotional ones? In this panel, we will discuss aspects of gay dating with Martinek Bísek (he) from the podcast Gay Guys and with Andrea Stašek (she), who will present data on gay and bisexual men on online dating platforms.Po proudu / Drifter

Hannes Hirsch, in his feature film debut, explores the complete transformation of a person who loses their points of reference and is given unlimited freedom by their surroundings. The search for identity is linked to a constant redefinition of the image of masculinity and the male gay body as a whole.
