Sunday's Mezipatra LIVE starts from 6:00 p.m. with interviews of celebrities about their coming out. How did the family and friends of director Kateřina Turečková, YouTuber Lukefry or director Peter Bebjak react? You will find out in the discussion Why We're (Not) Quiet, which will be conducted by journalist Filip Titlbach.
From 7:00 p.m. you can rewatch the interview with director Faraz Shariat. Mezipatra director Pavel Bicek talked to him about his latest film No Hard Feelings, which you can still stream online. This will be followed by a recording of the debate with Lucia Zachariáová from the Jsme fér initiative at 7:40 p.m. Can't wait? Watch the recording whenever you like. Even right now!
Of the film tips, you should not miss the ironically funny film It Is Not the Homosexual Who Is Perverse, But the Society in Which He Lives from the retrospective section. The film probe into the gay community of the 1970s in Berlin not only comments on the queer subculture but also shows the averted face of the life of a minority that did not yet have a voice at the time.
