How do queer voices sound, what rhythm do they have and does the society listen to them enough? We talked about queer voices and sounds in the discussion TRIGGER: Sound, Music and Voices of the Queer Community organized together with Synth Library Prague and their Trigger-System musical education program that focuses on music diversity and the system of control not only in the field of music technology.
Among the distinguished guests were the DJ and activist ODA Haliti, DJ Monster, a member of the Polish Oramics team, and DJ Gaya, co-founder of ofeer femme collective MEOTAR. Discussion in was hosted by Mary C, music journalist and co-founder of Synth Library Prague.
After the discussion we hosted a DJ warm up party that focused on the queer community’s diverse music selection provided exclusively by women: DJs Monster, Tasya and Mary C.
