Ramzi Fawaz, associate professor of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, will explore how the films Zardoz (1974) and Born in Flames (1983) visually imagined what a separatist society might look like and discuss the imaginative critiques of lesbian feminist values that experimental cinema offered.
