The Open_Space platform is a new part of the Mezipatra offprogram in Brno. It is based on the concept of Film in the Closet by expanding it and opening it more for the public. Especially to those who still think that “it can be cured.” It is a concept which opens taboo and touchy issues which need to be discussed and addressed in the media as another step to dismantle prejudices and xenophobia towards LGBTQ people.

As a part of the Open_Space platform, we preserve the rule of screening at unusual and interesting places corresponding with the topic and addressed target audiences, as well as the limited capacity to keep an intimate atmosphere.

Are you interested in what it's like to be gay and religious, or are you even experiencing it yourself? This year, we will focus on this topic as a part of the above-described Open_Space platform. You can look forward to the screening of This Is What Love in Action Looks Like, and the subsequent truly enriching discussion with an interesting guest who accepted the invitation of the co-organizer, LOGOS organisation. This ecumenical fellowship of LGBTQ Christians has been spicing up the Church in the Czech Republic for over 20 years.
