Jakub Egermajer
Jakub Egermajer is in the first year of his graduate studies at the Film Studies Department of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. For two years, he was the head of programming for the Zlaty Voci student film festival. He focuses on the history of Czech cinema and the links between film and ideology, and truly enjoys archive work. He loves historical spectacles, Italian giallo, German B-list detective films from the 1960s, Anna Biller, Bruno Dumont, and Wojciech Jerzy Has.
Farah Abou Kharroub
Farah Abou Kharroub is an award-winning director, writer, and producer. She is currently finishing her MFA in film directing at FAMU in Prague. Growing up as a Palestinian refugee in Lebanon, Farah constantly questioned the injustices around her. That was a big motivation for her to raise her voice and make bold films with themes that are related to women’s rights, social inequality, LGBTQ+, freedom, memory, and identity - despite censorship.
